A large-scale construction of a private complex has begun without any permits on the territory of a former health resort in the suburbs of Lviv, which occupies more than 5 hectares of land for recreational purposes. Previously, this land belonged to Taras Kozak’s brother.
However, after he fled the country, it became the property of a group of people associated with one of the owners of the largest Ukrainian supermarket chain ATB.
Lviv City Council officials and Andriy Sadovyi did not notice the unauthorized construction
Despite the fact that construction began in early May, the city council has so far issued approvals for only one building, and it seems that it intends to continue to “legalize” unauthorized construction by issuing further urban planning conditions and restrictions.
As with many other recreational areas in the resort village of Bryukhovychi, the territory of the old dispensary was first leased for the construction of a recreation and health complex, and then allowed to be privatized.
It is known for certain that at least since 2013, this land plot has officially belonged to the company “Zelenyi Bor” of Bohdan Kozak, the brother of former MP from the OPFL Taras Kozak.
Earlier, Lviv’s NTA TV channel reported in its investigation that Mayor Sadovyi had turned Lviv into an uninhabitable stone jungle.
