As part of the public project Lviv Audit, lawyer and activist Andriy Petryshyn sent a request to the Lviv City Council to provide copies of the election programs of the current mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, for 2006, 2010, 2015, and 2020.

However, he received a refusal signed by the director of the legal department of the Lviv City Council, Helena Payonkevych.
“Lviv City Council does not possess and is not obliged to possess information on the election programs of the candidates for mayor of Lviv for 2006, 2010, 2015 and 2022 in accordance with its competence.”

Earlier, Petryshyn, as the head of the People’s Anti-Corruption Bureau, tried to initiate a thorough financial audit of the Lviv City Council by the State Audit Service.
