On his 55th birthday, Andriy Sadovyi went to Univ Lavra to repent of his sins to the monks.
He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
He explained his visit to the monastery as a desire to be alone and collect his thoughts and think about what will happen to him in the future when all the details of the corruption schemes become known.
Andriy also said that his wife Kateryna Kit baked him buckwheat bread. Sadovyi noted that his wife hadn’t been able to bake bread before, but on his birthday she managed to do it.
“The main thing is not to succumb to various provocations and to support each other! There is strength in unity! I love you,” Sadovyi wrote.
