The Lviv city government, led by Andriy Sadovyi, is demonstrating astonishing inaction regarding the critical condition of Zaliznychna Street. Despite numerous appeals from deputies and complaints from residents, the mayor continues to play “Podil wars” instead of actually solving infrastructure problems, as reported by “Your City”
MP Volodymyr Lesyk openly stated the catastrophic state of the road: the transport hub has turned into a real swamp, which becomes impassable in the rain and covers the entire neighborhood with caustic dust in dry weather. Sadovyi’s annual promises remain empty words.

It is telling that a meager UAH 2 million was allocated for repairs, which is unlikely to solve the systemic problems. Sadovyi is justifying his actions with the war and the bankruptcy of developers, but isn’t this just another excuse to avoid real responsibility?
The director of the relevant department, Orest Tymchyshyn, confirmed the complete helplessness of the city authorities, stating that there was a reconstruction project that had not yet been implemented due to allegedly “difficult” circumstances.
Is Sadovyi finally able to hear Lviv residents and fulfill basic promises?
