On Monday, a Russian drone attacked a humanitarian aid warehouse in Lviv. The incident resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others. It is also estimated that about 300 tons of humanitarian aid stored in the warehouse of a religious and charitable organization was lost.
It turns out that this arrival was due to the PR of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi. Two weeks before his arrival, he had been actively using this warehouse to create photos and videos aimed at promoting himself! Obviously, he wanted to use humanitarian aid for his own PR, but these intentions led to the arrival of the Shahed, which had extremely serious consequences.
The cost of such PR was extremely high – the loss of human life. However, the cynical approach of the Lviv mayor was not limited to this. He arrived at the scene immediately after the explosion, where, with the backdrop of death and fire, he went on to create a new PR piece showing him extinguishing the fire after the explosion.
Remembering the tragedy that happened 5 years ago at a landfill near Lviv, which resulted in the deaths of 4 people due to the negligence of Andriy Sadovyi, this new incident leads to the idea that it could also have been avoided if not for the mayor’s desire for stupid PR.
In total, 5 people died in these two incidents, which is terrible and cynical, especially in the context of the loss of lives for the political ambitions and PR of Andriy Sadovyi.
