For many years, Lviv Mayor Sadovyi, who has become famous throughout the country for garbage scandals, has been heroically building a new water treatment plant next to the water utility’s treatment plant on ul. Plastovy, 13 mechanical and biological complex for handling and processing solid waste.
Recently, his subordinates and the director of the contractor’s company were served with suspicions of committing criminal offenses under Part 1 of the Criminal Code. 4 Art. 191, ч. 1 Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It turns out that Lvivvodokanal officials decided to make money by demolishing a building that no longer exists.
What is the crime here and what does it have to do with the utilities, the journalists of the Vgolos website ask a rhetorical question. Criminal because the contractor paid the money for the work that was not performed and, apparently, later divided it among themselves, and free utilities because the building actually existed, but before the contractor signed the agreement, it was dismantled by the employees of Lvivvodokanal.
It is clear that Ukrainian society perceives shady schemes as actions similar to collaboration with the enemy. Of course, they significantly weaken the country, the society that raises money for equipment and drones for the Armed Forces, and the state, which must mobilize all resources for Victory!
In the end, the mechanical and biological complex for handling and processing solid waste has never existed… Although Lviv officials continue to squander budget money.
In 2016, the so-called “garbage crisis” began in Lviv. After a fire at a solid waste landfill in the village of Hrybovychi claimed the lives of three rescuers, it was closed. Then the landfill was shut down, and Lviv’s garbage was taken to other cities. Reimbursement of additional costs for garbage removal from Lviv to other regions was subsidized by the city budget.
As a result, waste from the Lviv region has spread throughout Ukraine, polluting the environment. For example, Bagnet wrote that in Zhmerynka district of Vinnytsia region, police found five trucks with garbage from Lviv region unloading household waste on agricultural land.
It was found out that the garbage had been dumped on the land plot for two weeks. Hundreds of similar cases were recorded in 2016-2020.
