Budget tours: How Sadovyi’s deputies “rolled” almost 400 thousand hryvnias from Lviv residents

In September-October 2024, three deputy mayors of Lviv traveled abroad and on domestic business trips, spending a total of UAH 394,776.63 from the city budget. This is reported in a document published on the website of the Lviv City Council.

Andriy Moskalenko (First Deputy):

• Business trip to Washington, DC (September 16-19)
• Participation in the international event “City Leadership in Supporting Social Cohesion”
• Total cost: 61 414,84 UAH
  • Accommodation: 29 964,85 UAH
  • Traveling to and from work: 9 121.53 UAH
  • Per diem: UAH 22,328.46

Iryna Maruniak (Accessibility Officer):

• Two short-term business trips to Kyiv
• Studying at the School of Universal Design
• The total cost of the book: 720 UAH
  • The first module (October 9-12): 510 UAH
  • The second module (October 24-25): 210 UAH
• Per diem expenses only, excluding accommodation and travel expenses

Sergiy Kiral (Deputy for International Cooperation):

• Four business trips: Colombia, USA, UK, Kyiv
• Total cost of the project: UAH 332,641.79
  • Colombia (Bogota, August 17-24): 124 676.93 UAH
    • Accommodation: 13 782.52 UAH
    • Travel expenses: 93 354.29 UAH
    • Per diem: UAH 17 540.12
  • USA (Washington, September 17-23): 160 930.77 UAH
