In Lviv, the court is considering a pensioner’s lawsuit against the restriction of free travel
October 27, 2024On August 15, 2023, during a rocket attack on Lviv, a Russian missile hit the territory of the Kazka kindergarten on Paton Street.
After nine months, on April 1, 2024, the Lviv City Council announced that the institution had resumed operations. According to official information, the Kazka kindergarten, which was damaged during the attack, resumed operations after major repairs. The city council reported that it was fully reopened and that all children had allegedly returned to the kindergarten. However, according to the Fourth Studio media outlet, which cited its own sources, on October 15, 2024, the staff of the institution said that only three groups were working, while the rest of the premises were not yet ready. Some rooms are still without windows, although the building’s structure has not been damaged.
“The repairs have been completed, the funds have been utilized and written off,” the source said.
Nevertheless, the press service of the Lviv City Council stated that the kindergarten was operating at full capacity. It is possible that the employees were simply ordered to keep quiet under the threat of complete closure.
